I made these around Christmas time, they make for a fantastic gift idea and are very simple to make.
You will need:
Dried Figs
Dark Chocolate
Powdered Cinnamon
Walnut Halves
Melt chocolate in a bain-marie with a little knob of butter. Once melted add a little cinnamon and mix.
Cut the figs in half, and make hollow with a finger tip. Stuff the fig half with nuts then press together.
Dip in chocolate and set aside on cling film until chocolate sets.
You could improvise the stuffing with all types of nuts, marzipan, or whatever tickles your fancy. You may use white chocolate, or sprinkle with extra smashed nuts or desicated coconut while setting.
Store in fridge.
